PHOENIX (AP) - One of two men wounded in a drive-by shooting in Phoenix has died.
Phoenix police say an unidentified man drove up and fired shots at another car and a man outside that vehicle around 3 a.m. Friday.
When officers arrived, one man was found with multiple gunshot wounds and later died at a Phoenix hospital. Police have identified that victim as 43-year-old Michael Anthony Thomas.
A 20-year-old man also suffered gunshot wounds, but police say he's expected to survive. His name hasn't been released yet.
A witness told police there was no prior altercation before the shooting.
Police say they haven't located or identified any suspects in the case yet and the shooting remains under investigation.
