Avra Valley firefighters hosting block party

According to officials, the Avra Valley Fire District will host a free community block party event on Sept.15 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Red Rock community.
All ages can meet the district staff. There will be fire prevention games, volleyball and a jumping castle. Food and drinks will be provided.
