TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Deputies are searching for a man who robbed a gas station with distinct red-soled shoes, according to Deputy Tom Peine with the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
Peine tells KGUN9 that a man entered the Conoco gas station at 3780 W. Magee Rd., approached the clerk and the owner and pointed a silver revolver at them, demanding money to be put into a fishnet bag.
He received an undisclosed amount of money and ran out. He was last seen running into a desert area north of the gas station. As he was running off, the two women noticed that he was wearing white tennis shows with red soles.
He is described as Hispanic, with short, black hair. He was wearing dark jeans, a gray faded t-shirt, a baseball hat and a black bandanna pulled over his face.
Anyone with information on the identity of this man is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
