TUCSON (AP) Arizona can't afford a letdown this week, not with a tough Pac-12 schedule starting soon.
After beating No. 18 Oklahoma State 59-38 last week, the Wildcats improved to 2-0 and moved into The Associated Press poll for the first time in nearly two years, at No. 24.
Up next for Arizona is South Carolina State, a Football Championship Subdivision school that split its first two games of the season.
The Wildcats have been on a roll, ranking second nationally with 65 first downs and ninth with 562.5 yards per game.
After the Bulldogs, Arizona plays at Oregon, along with conference games against Southern California, Stanford, UCLA and rival Arizona State.
