TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Deputies are searching for two men who robbed two women at gunpoint in the parking lot of the Foothills Mall, according to Deputy Tom Peine with the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
Peine tells KGUN9 that on Sept. 2, two woman were approached by two men while standing by their car.
One man held up a shotgun and demanded that one woman hand over her purse. When she told the man she had no money, the man held the shotgun to the woman's face.
She then let go of her purse and the two men ran off toward an apartment complex on the west side of the parking lot.
Several deputies, canine units and the Sheriff's Air Unit responded to the area but were unable to find the two men.
