Cardinals inch closer to ruling out Skelton

TEMPE (AP) Arizona Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt is inching closer to acknowledging that Kevin Kolb will be the starting quarterback for Sunday's game at New England.
Whisenhunt said Thursday that "it doesn't look great" for John Skelton being able to play as he recovers from the ankle injury sustained in last Sunday's season opener against Seattle. Kolb relieved the injured Skelton in the fourth quarter and directed the winning drive in Arizona's 20-16 victory.
Whisenhunt also said that Kolb has had a very good week of practice.
Skelton, diagnosed with a low right ankle sprain, has not talked to the media this week.
