Tombstone man gets 292 years in molestation case

SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. (AP) - A Tombstone man convicted of molesting a young girl and possessing child pornography has been sentenced to 292 years in prison.
The Sierra Vista Herald reports that Tony Charles Wonderlin was convicted last month of one count of continuous sex abuse of a child and 16 counts of possessing or child pornography.
Cochise County Superior Court Judge James Conlogue sentenced Wonderlin to the prison term at a hearing on Monday. He received 20 years for the continuous sexual abuse conviction and 17 years in prison for each of the 16 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Wonderlin was arrested last year in Tombstone. He turns 49 this month.
