Tucson home prices rose slightly in August

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - The median price of a Tucson home rose slightly in August to $145,000.
That's after holding flat at $140,000 for the previous three months.
According to the latest statistics from the Tucson Association of Realtors Multiple Listing Service, the August sale price is more than 18 percent higher than one year ago.
The average number of days a home was on the market continued to fall from 68 days in June to 67 days in July and 65 days in August.
Average sale price dipped slightly from $181,978 in July to $180,193 in August.
And after dropping by more than 10 percent in July, unit sales increased in August by 3.69 percent.
