TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A mother and her two children are recovering after a car hit them while they were walking across the street.
They were struck by the vehicle near 29th Street and Swan Blvd around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to Barret Baker with the Tucson Fire Department.
The department says all three were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Baker said they were in a crosswalk, but that doesn't guarantee anyone's safety. He went on to say that especially at night, people on foot should wear reflective clothing as an added precaution.
