TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Drexel Heights Fire District responded to three swift water rescues after monsoon rains swept through the city, according to Tracy Koslowski, an official with the district.
Koslowski tells KGUN9 that one rescue took place at Valencia Road and Camino Verde, where one woman was rescued. Koslowski was not sure at the time if the woman needed medical attention.
Another person was rescued at Mountain Eagle Drive, but did not need to go to the hospital.
A third rescue took place at Mark and Valencia Roads, but the person in that car was able to get out before crews arrived on scene.
