Dust explosion injures 2 workers in Phoenix

PHOENIX (AP) - Two workers are being treated for second- and third-degree burns after a dust explosion at a Phoenix design business.
Phoenix Fire Department officials say the workers were in the attic and the roof of the building of a door manufacturing company when the explosion occurred Monday afternoon.
Authorities say the workers were cleaning up years' worth of old dust from Rockhard Design and Surfaces.
Somehow the dust became an ignition source and all that sawdust in the air exploded.
Phoenix radio station KTAR reports that after the explosion, the workers fell through the roof into an old office.
A third worker was also injured, but he refused medical treatment.
The names and conditions of the two burned workers aren't immediately available.
