YOUNGTOWN, Ariz. (AP) - Maricopa County authorities are searching for two young sisters who apparently ran away from their foster home in Youngtown, west of Phoenix.
County Sheriff's officials say 11-year-old Esperanza Darrin and 9-year-old Bella Darrin were last seen walking near the Loop 101 freeway around 8 a.m. Wednesday.
They say the sisters attend Country Meadows Elementary School and haven't shown up for school since Wednesday.
Authorities believe the girls may have headed toward an area of Glendale where they previously lived.
