Crews find missing woman dead in her car

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Crews found the body of 52-year-old Angelina Carrasco in her car, according to Deputy Tom Peine with Pima County Sheriff's.
Peine tells KGUN9 that Carrasco was found about 200 yards from where they found her husband.
Deputies are not releasing the cause of death.
Her car was partially submerged and search and rescue crews had to hike to the location.
They also had to wait for water to recede before they could access the car.
Multiple agencies were involved in the search for Carrasco including, the Pima County Sheriff's Department, Avra Valley Fire Department, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Border Patrol, Picture Rocks Fire Department, Northwest Fire Department and a K9 dog from the Arizona Department of Corrections.
Peine says a man called 9-1-1 to report that his vehicle was stuck in a wash. Once on scene, the man told deputies that he heard someone calling for help.
Peine says the deputies finally found the husband of the missing woman on a sand bank around 7:00 a.m.
Right away he told deputies he had been injured and that he hadn't seen his wife since 2:00 a.m. when she and his vehicle were swept away downstream in the flooded wash near Manville Trail and Sandario Road.
The husband was then transported to a local hospital where he is currently being treated for a broken pelvis and possible hypothermia.
A total of five vehicles were stuck in the wash.
Since conducting the search, crews have pulled three vehicles from the flooded wash, according to Peine.
