TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A Safeway store bank was robbed for a second time Thursday by a man responsible for seven different incidents, according to Sgt. Chris Widmer with Tucson Police.
Widmer tells KGUN9 that the Wells Fargo Bank inside the Safeway at 8740 E. Broadway Blvd. was robbed when two men approached the teller with a note threatening harm and demanding money.
Each man presented a separate note, and each man received an undisclosed amount of money.
Both men left the store and were seen running across the parking lot in a westbound direction.
They got into a white four-door sedan which is described as a '90s model Honda.
The first man is described as an African American man, between 21 and 25 years old, 5'7'' with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts and a baseball hat.
The second man, who police say is involved in seven other incidents, is described as a Hispanic man, in his late 20's, 5'6'' to 5'8'' tall and weighing about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue long-sleeved, button-up shirt and a gray knit cap with a small bill.
Anyone with information about the identity or whereabouts of these men is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
