Police: Ariz. brothers stole veterans' donations

SURPRISE, Ariz. (AP) - Two brothers have been arrested after police said they stole money being collected to help support veterans.
Police said Wednesday that Brandon and Brian Baird were arrested and face theft charges.
According to police, the brothers stole a donation jar from a Surprise Walmart that was being collected by volunteers for veterans of foreign wars.
Authorities later found the suspects hiding with the jar in the restroom of a nearby grocery store.
It was unclear if the men had attorneys.
