62‐year‐old San Tan Valley man killed

FLORENCE, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Deputies with the Pinal County Sheriff's Office are investigating a rollover collision that killed a 62-year-old Rickey E. Wooten, of San Tan Valley.
Public Information Officer Elia Johnson tells KGUN9 that on September 9, a 2007 Kia Spectra was traveling southbound along Ironwood Road lost control and rolled over the median, through opposite lanes of traffic and into a cattle fence before coming to rest.
Several people witnessed the accident and responded to the scene to help.
Wooten, suffered severe head trauma during the crash and was unresponsive.
An off‐duty registered nurse stopped her vehicle and performed CPR on Wooten until paramedics arrived.
Wooten was unresponsive and flown by air to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
It is believe that speed and alcohol were contributing factors in this collision.
