CHANDLER, Ariz. (AP) - A high school teacher who was been missing since last month has been found dead in Scottsdale.
Chandler police spokesman Det. Seth Tyler says Jean Valentino's body was found in the parking garage at the Scottsdale Fashion Center Mall on Sunday morning. Police are investigating the circumstances of the death but do not suspect foul play.
Valentino was reported missing on Aug. 25 after she left her fiance's house in Chandler. She was an English teacher who taught at North Canyon High School in Phoenix.
Tyler says police hope to learn the cause of death in several days.
