FLORENCE, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Four people were arrested and charged on multiple counts after attempting to hide from Pinal County deputies.

Three adults and one juvenile are in custody after they attempted to evade deputies by hiding out on a ranch near Casa Grande, according to Elias Johnson with the Pinal County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies finally caught up with the fugitives during a traffic stop around 4:30 a.m. August 26, says Johnson.

A deputy on patrol near Chui Chu Road in Casa Grande ran a registration check on a white Chevrolet Suburban that was carrying four occupants and found that the vehicle did not have the required insurance coverage.

While attempting to pull the vehicle over, the driver pulled into a nearby residence. Minutes later, the driver pulled out of the residence and drove toward the deputy who was parked a short distance down from the residence.

The driver was identified as 40-year-old Faye Ventura of Sellis, Ariz., according to Johnson.

Johnson says Sellis admitted that the people who were previously inside the vehicle were her teenage son, adult daughter, and the daughter's boyfriend, all three of which had fled on foot because of their active arrest warrants.

At this time, additional deputies were called to conduct a search for the individuals who fled.

Approximately 30 minutes later, the suspects were located and arrested.

The daughter's boyfriend, Adrian Valdez, 26, had multiple warrants out for his arrest, one from the Arizona Department of Corrections for a parole violation and another from the Casa Grande Justice Court for assault, according to Johnson.

Ventura's daughter, Marla Molina, 22, had an active warrant out of Maricopa County for a DUI hit-and-run.

Johnson says Valdez and Molina were charged with criminal trespassing, burglary and hindering prosecution.

Additionally, Ventura was charged with trespassing and driving on a suspended license.

Ventura's teenage son also had an active warrant out for his arrest. He was taken into custody as well.
