Police respond to possible human smuggling operation; ICE arrests 9

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Police responded to a southside home where they believe a human smuggling operation took place, according to Sgt. Maria Hawke with TPD.
Hawke tells KGUN9 that they asked Immigration and Customs Enforcement to respond to a home in the area of Bilby Road and 6th Avenue and take over the investigation.
Officials with ICE say nine suspected undocumented aliens were discovered at the house, and the investigation is ongoing.
