TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Emergency crews conducted a rescue in Catalina State Park.
A 50-year-old man went hiking in Catalina State Park early Friday morning, but he ran out of water and began suffering from heat-related symptoms, according to William Seely with the Golder Ranch Fire District.
Golder Ranch emergency crews and deupties from the Pima County Sheriff's Department began searching for the hiker around 3:00 p.m. Friday.
Once the hiker was located, he was removed from the trail and transported to a nearby hospital, according to Seely.
Seely says the hiker has already been released from the hospital.
