GRAND CANYON, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Both the Green Lake and Manzanita Fires were extinguished naturally by monsoon rain last week, according to officials with the Grand Canyon National Park.
Both fires originally started by lightning, but heavy precipitation at the north rim put them both out.
Neither of the fires grew more than one-quarter acre in size.
