FLORENCE, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Deputies in San Tan Valley have identified two men responsible for stealing donation jars intended for a 7-year-old cancer patient, according to Elias Johnson, a public information officer with the Pinal County Sheriff's Office.
Johnson tells KGUN9 that Peter Cardinale, 21, and Anthony Stuber, 21 are both seen on surveillance video from two different Walgreens in San Tan Valley, taking the donation jars.
The jars were put in the stores by the 7-year-old's parents to help cover food expenses.
Stuber was arrested Tuesday and charged with shoplifting. Cardinale was arrested Thursday and also charged with shoplifting.
