TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The University of Arizona's Parking and Transportation Services will celebrate its 250,000th transaction with an award and possibly free parking, according to Bill Davidson with the U of A.

Davidson tells KGUN9 that the solar powered pay stations on campus have been extensively used since they were installed last year, and are about to hit the 250,000th customer transaction.

The lucky winner will be presented with an award and also potentially given credit to park for free on campus.

The department expects the transaction to take place late in August.
