SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Paul Douglas Crawford, 22, has been arrested by Sierra Vista Police for burglary and possession of dangerous drugs.
Cpl. Scott Borgstadt tells KGUN9 that on August 20, a vehicle burglary occurred at McDonalds located at 1802 East Fry Boulevard.
Crawford entered the vehicle and removed a backpack containing electronic devices.
Detectives went to McDonalds to retrieve video surveillance. While at McDonalds, an employee identified two subjects walking away from the business and indicated they were the people in the video associated with the burglary.
With the assistance of several patrol units, the subjects were located not far from McDonalds.
After Detectives viewed the video, probable cause was established to arrest Crawford.
A search of Crawford's person subsequent to arrest, a plastic baggie containing a white crystalline substance was found. A field test of the substance tested positive for Methamphetamine.
