TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The investigation into a serial bank robber has led Tucson Police to a possible accomplice.
Police arrested 33-year-old Marcos Rios for his involvement in a robbery that took place at the Wells Fargo in the 500 block of north Wilmot Road, according to Sgt. Chris Widmer with the Tucson Police Department.
Widmer says detectives learned that Rios assisted the serial bank robber in some way during the August 17 incident, but they are not sure if Rios was involved in the other robberies.
Police are still asking for the public's assistance in locating the man responsible for the series of bank robberies.
