TEMPE (AP) - Taylor Kelly will be Arizona State's starting quarterback to open the season.
First-year coach Todd Graham says the redshirt sophomore from Eagle, Idaho, has emerged from the competition with redshirt freshman Michael Eubank and sophomore Mike Bercovici.
Graham says that while Kelly will start the Sun Devils' season opener Aug. 30 against Northern Arizona, the touted Eubank will get some playing time.
Kelly played in two games for Arizona State last season, completing all four of his passes for 31 yards.
