DURANGO, Colo. (AP) - Firefighters are battling several new wildfires sparked by lightning over the weekend in southwestern Colorado.
The largest of the fires had grown to 120 acres by Monday. The Burns Fire is 12 miles southwest of Pagosa Springs.
Three ground crews, two single engine air tankers and a heavy tanker are being used to fight the fire.
No structures are threatened.
Fire managers say crews are having success fighting four other smaller fires, including two in Mesa Verde National Park.
