Tucson firefighters tackle mobile home fire

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) -Firefighters snuffed flames after witnesses called to report a mobile home fire.
Tucson firefighters responded to multiple calls about a mobile home fire in the 800 block of west Laguna Street around 3:00 p.m. Saturday, according to Capt. Barrett Baker with the Tucson Police Department.
The mobile home was situated on a trailer in the middle of a vacant plot of land, and there was no danger of the fire spreading.
Baker also said the unit was unoccupied.
Witnessed told firefighters that the mobile home had been parked in the vacant lot for approximately two weeks.
The origin and cause of the fire is still under investigation.
