TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A man was shot while partying with friends and family.
Tucson police responded to a neighborhood home in the 2000 block of east Silvosa Street just before 4:00 a.m. Saturday and discovered that 24-year-old Mario Martin Paz had been shot during a family gathering, according to Sgt. Chris Widmer with the Tucson Police Department.
Police say an argument among friends and family erupted on the front lawn as several others partied inside the home.
Party-goers heard shouting just before a gun shot was fired at Paz, according to Widmer.
Tucson police are still investigating the scene, but no one has been identified as a possible suspect at this time.
Police say they still don't know what the relationship was between Paz and the men he was in the front yard with at the time of the shooting.
Police urge anyone with information regarding this incident to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
KGUN 9 On Your Side will have more on this story as it unfolds.
