TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Pima County could get hit with heavy rain and flooding.

The National Weather Service in Tucson is tracking a large storm system that has plaqued Nogales, Ariz., all morning.

The storm has now moved into southern Arizona, which means Tucsonans will need to brace for heavy rain and flash flooding.

KGUN 9 On Your Side's Meteorologist Aaron Brackett says the storm is slow moving so people won't see strong winds or hail.

According to Brackett, however, this storm will likely drop large amounts of rain, causing roads and washes to overflow.

A flash flood warning has been issued for eastern Pima County, and this advisory will remain in effect until 3:30 p.m. Friday.

A flood watch is in effect for all of Southern Arizona, including Pima County until 8:00 p.m. Friday.
