TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for southern Santa Cruz County until 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.
This includes the city of Nogales, Patagonia Lake and Rio Rico.
The Nogales Fire Department tells KGUN9 that they received numerous calls for flooding in the city, including four flooded homes.
No one had to be evacuated from those homes because of flooding.
The flooding was mainly in residential areas, and a few cars were stalled in the water in those areas.
Officials with Nogales Fire also said the Nogales wash reached the top and spilled onto a couple of the bridges, and Nogales Police were on scene to help with traffic.
This warning also includes the areas of Patagonia Lake and Rio Rico.
