PHOENIX (AP) - A hazardous material situation has prompted authorities to evacuate everyone near an industrial area in Glendale.
Daniel Valenzuela, a spokesman for the Glendale Fire Department, says chemicals used to treat pools were believed to be reacting with each other while they were in the back of a tractor-trailer rig.
No injuries or fires have been reported.
Valenzuela says there aren't homes near the industrial area.
