Flash Flood Warning

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A flash flood warning is in effect for parts of central Pima County.
The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a flash flood warning for the cities of Oro Valley, Marana, Avra Valley, Santa Rosa Ranch and other parts of central Pima County.
The advisory, which was issued after the doppler radar showed a thunderstorm over Picture Rocks, will remain in effect until 4:15 p.m. Sunday.
Heavy rainfall is expected to cause excessive runoff and flooded washes.
Drivers should use caution and avoid underpasses, drainage areas and low lying spots.
