Blowing dust threatens Phoenix roads and highways

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A blowing dust advisory has been issued for parts of Pinal County.
The National Weather Service in Phoenix has issued a blowing dust advisory for northwest and north-central Pinal County.
This advisory will remain in effect until 7:00 p.m. Saturday and could effect the cities of Apache Junction, Casa Grande and Florence.
Interstate 8 and Interstate 10 could also be effected by blowing dust with visibility predicted at less than one mile at times.
Drivers should prepare for a sudden drop in visibility and pull off of the roadway if you encounter blowing sand or dust.
