TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - U.S. Representative Ron Barber is committed to helping veterans assimilate to civilian life.
Barber joined the newly formed Veterans Job Caucus Thursday saying, "Our veterans stepped forward to serve our country and it is our responsibility to help them find meaningful employment when they return to their civilian lives."
Unemployment for post-9/11 veterans is greater than the national average, which means approximately 800,000 veterans are looking for work.
Members of the Veterans Job Caucus are dedicated to providing support and employment pathways for homeless and unemployed veterans and their families.
