TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A federal judge found two men guilty for bringing thousands of illegal aliens into the U.S. over more than five years.
Eusebio Arce-Padilla, 57, of Rio Rico, Ariz., and Miguel Torres-Organiz, 62, of Tucson were found guilty of conspiracy to bring, transport, and harbor illegal aliens Monday, July 23.
This conviction carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison, but the two men will have to wait until October to receive sentencing.
The court also declared a mistrial after jurors were unable to reach a verdict in the case of Miguel Toralba-Mendia, 50, of Tucson who faced similar charges in the same investigation.
