VAIL, Ariz., (KGUN9-TV) - Four students were treated for minor injuries after a rock hit the front windshield of the school bus they were in, according to Calvin Baker, superintendent of the Vail School District.
Baker tells KGUN9 that a rock hit the front windshield, but did not go through, and sent glass shards back into the bus, scratching four students.
The bus was hit while driving on Wentworth Road, south of Interstate 10 and near the Andrada Road exit.
The bus was coming from Old Vail Middle School.
The students were not taken to the hospital and were picked up by their parents.
