More fire restrictions lifted in AZ

SIERRA VISTA, Ariz., (KGUN9-TV) - Record-breaking precipitation leads to continued lowering of state-wide fire restrictions.
The Bureau of Land Management Gila District will rescind fire restrictions Saturday, July 28, according to a BLM news release.
Mary Kralovec, Associate District Manager, approved reducing the Stage 2 fire restrictions that have been in place since early June.
Monsoon rains have caused state-wide greening of grass and brush, prompting many state parks, forests and public land groups to lift or minimize fire restriction ordinances.
Bureau of Land Management Gila District is the latest to lift fire restrictions, but they continue to urge people to take precautions while building campfires, smoking or using spark-producing equipment.
