TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - An investigation into Katherine Jackson's whereabouts led deputies to her Pima County location.
Michael Jackson's mother was reported missing in Los Angeles over the weekend after family members couldn't get a hold of her.
The LA County Sheriff's Department requested the help of the Pima County Sheriff's Department who conducted a welfare check on the 82-year0old woman, according to Deputy Tom Peine.
Peine said the welfare check was successful in revealing Jackson was safe and in good condition.
According to a statement made by Jermaine Jackson, Jackson is in Pima County after her doctor advised that she "rest-up and de-stress."
