TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - KGUN9 On Your Side has received numerous phone calls about damage around Tucson from the recent storms, and we know that the Tucson Fire Department responded to over 100 calls in the storm.

TFD responded to a rescue at Mission Road and Oak Tree Drive where a car was stuck in the flooded area. Capt. Jeff Langejans with Tucson Fire confirmed that four people had to be rescued from that car and they were all under the age of 20.

Tucson Fire also responded to a rescue at 4900 N. 1st Ave. with a mother and a child stuck in a car.

Firefighters went in to the river and the water was a quarter of the way up the door. No one was injured and the mother and child were removed safely.

The roof of the JC Penney at 4861 N. Stone Ave. caved in possibly because of the rain, according to Jeff Langejans with Tucson Fire.

Langejans said the roof hit the main sprinkler system, flooding the store. No one was injured.

In addition, Drexel Heights Fire Department responded to six swift water rescues today, and also to a trailer that blew over from the high winds, says Tracy Koslowski with Drexel heights.

Koslowski tells KGUN9 that no one was in the trailer at the time, and there were no injuries. In addition, there were no injuries in any of the rescues, and everyone was able to leave the flooded area un-harmed.

Near I-10 and El Camino Del Cerro, Northwest Fire responded to a woman stranded in her vehicle because of high waters. She was able to walk out of the flooding and was no injured, says Capt. Adam Goldberg with Northwest Fire.

A viewer called KGUN9 to alert us to a massive tree in the road on Prince Road, east of Campbell Avenue.

I-10 was backed up temporarily at Miracle Mile due to debris in the road, according to officials with the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
