SIERRA VISTA, Ariz., (KGUN9-TV) - Police arrested a man in Sierra Vista who attempted to rob a woman in the parking lot of a Safeway store, according to Tracy Grady with the Sierra Vista Police Department.
Grady tells KGUN9 that Kevin Fales, 24, approached a woman in the parking lot at 2190 E. Fry Blvd., with a handgun and demanded that she give him her wallet.
The woman refused to hand over her wallet and struggled with the man.
She was not injured, and Fales then fled across the street and was located a short time later by Sierra Vista police officers.
Fales was booked into the Cochise County Jail and is held on a $50,000 bond.
