Ariz. inmate mistakenly released in custody again

PHOENIX (AP) - Federal authorities have nabbed a man who mistakenly was released from jail in Pinal County in 2010.
Court records showed a $500,000 bond for 26-year-old Daniel Perez, stemming from a shooting incident with state Department of Public Safety officers.
But his jailers say they weren't aware of the charges and believed he had been in custody on a misdemeanor warrant, allowing him to post a $320 bond.
The Arizona Republic reports that federal agents captured him earlier this week at a point of entry near San Diego. He faces federal weapons charges.
