PAGE, Ariz. (AP) - Two people are dead following a collision involved two personal water craft on Lake Powell.
Officials say members of a New Mexico family were using the small vessels Friday for sightseeing on the San Juan arm of the lake when one of them slowed down and was struck by the other.
Denise Shultz, a spokeswoman for the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, says the two adults were killed. A juvenile female was taken to a hospital and later released.
She says no names were being released pending an investigation.
No other details were immediately available.
