TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A man responsible for two robberies at a Circle K turned himself in to deputies, according to Deputy Tom Peine with the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
Peine tells KGUN9 that Umberto Robles Durazo, 31, called deputies from a payphone and said that family members told him his picture was on the news and he wanted to surrender.
Deputies responded to the convenience store that Durazo called from and took him into custody without incident.
Durazo was linked to two robberies at a Circle K on July 3.
Detectives are still looking for a person involved in a robbery on June 27 at the Circle K at 2840 W. Los Reales Rd.
Durazo was booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Center.
