TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A mobile home was destroyed in a fire that threatened two other homes and a day care center, according to Capt. Barrett Baker with the Tucson Fire Department.
Firefighters arrived to the 1600 block of N. Columbus Rd. and found a mobile home fully engulfed in flames.
The fire threatened two mobile homes and a day care center, but crews were able to keep the flames from spreading.
The other structures had minor exterior damage, but the mobile home where the fire originated had heavy fire damage and is considered a total loss.
There was no one in the home at the time, and there were no injuries to firefighters.
TFD had responded to the same address two weeks ago for a minor fire.
The cause is still under investigation and there is no estimate for damages.
