54-year-old man killed after being struck by vehicle

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Peter Morse, 54, has died as a result of the injuries sustained after being stuck by a vehicle Tuesday morning.
Sgt. Dawn Barkman tells KGUN9 that deputies reported a collision in the 1400 block of West Rudasill Road between West Calle Kino and North La Canada.
Deputies found Morse suffering from life threatening injuries after having been struck by a vehicle.
Morse was transported to University of Arizona Medical Center where he died as a results of his injuries.
Investigators have determined that Morse was walking westbound on West Rudasill when he was struck by an eastbound traveling Toyota passenger vehicle driven by 63-year-old James Douglas Soukup.
Soukup has been arrested and charged with causing serious physical injury or death by a moving vehicle, driving without due care and failure to control speed to avoid an accident.
