Yasmani Grandal Selected to All Star Futures Game

Major League Baseball announced the United States and World Rosters for the 2012 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game, and Tucson Padres catcher Yasmani Grandal is on the World Team roster.
Grandal is hitting .308 with six home runs and 30 RBIs in 49 Triple-A games this season. He was acquired from the Cincinnati Reds this winter in the trade that sent pitcher Mat Latos from San Diego to Cincinnati.
