TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Police are asking for the public's help in locating a man who went missing from a group home, according to Sgt. Maria Hawke with Tucson Police.
Darrel Ray LaFavor, 43, went missing from a group home in the 2300 block of East Camino Malcote Tuesday morning.
He was last seen around 2 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Police say there is significant concern for his welfare because he needs medication.
He is described as a white male, 250 pounds, with grayish blond hair and brown eyes. He also has large gaps in his teeth.
He is not aggressive but will ask for food and approach strangers when he is hungry.
Police say he operates at a minimal functional level. He also enjoys churches and anything to do with the military.
Anyone with knowledge of his location is asked to call 911 as soon as possible.
