GILBERT, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a warehouse fire in Gilbert near an industrial park is sending large columns of black smoke over the area east of Phoenix.
Gilbert Fire Department officials say the two-alarm blaze was burning Monday at a plumbing equipment and supply company.
There's no immediate word on how the fire started.
Mesa Fire Department dispatchers say it's still unclear what's on fire. Dispatchers say it's a commercial structure.
The Arizona Republic says the fire started about 3 p.m. in some plastic piping in a storage area behind Farnsworth Wholesale Company, then spread to some propane gas tanks and fiberglass.
No injuries have been reported so far.
Dozens of fire trucks from Gilbert, Tempe, Chandler and Mesa are on the scene and an aerial tanker is spraying water on the flames.
