Grand Fire growing near Flagstaff

WILLIAMS, Ariz., (KGUN9-TV) - Fire crews are still working to contain the Grand Fire, burning in the Kaibab National Forest and the Grand Canyon National Park, according to officials with the Williams and Tusayan Ranger Districts.
The fire is estimated at 446 acres and is 50 percent contained.
It is located eight miles east of Tusayan, Arizona and 11 miles southeast of Grand Canyon Village in the vicinity of the Grandview Lookout Tower and the Arizona Trail.
Officials advise the public to avoid the area around Grandview Lookout Tower while crews continue to fight the blaze.
Also, as a precaution, officials say Arizona Trail users will have to detour off the trail between Forest Road 303 at Watson Tank and the junction of Forest Roads 301 and 310 near Lockett Lake.
All roads and trails in Grand Canyon National Park are open at this time.
The cause of this fire is still under investigation.
